Intended
to help companies that produce and or melt aluminum sows to prevent equipment
damage and injuries associated with explosions caused by wet or contaminated
sows charged into molten metal in melting furnaces. The Guidelines offer
information and suggestions derived from industry experience for plants
to consider in their safety programs related to aluminum sow casting,
inspection, drying and melting. |
