Another
roadmap in the series related to the Industries of the Future Partnership
with the Department of Energy, this document outlines various approaches
and sets priorities for the treatment and handling of bauxite residues.
Key precompetitive research and development needs, for example in the
areas of metal recovery and bauxite beneficiation, are defined and economic,
environmental, and market factors are discussed. The roadmap is the result
