The 27th edition of the Materials Book contains 418 materials specifications and test methods commonly used in the construction of highway facilities. The specifications have been developed and maintained by states’ highway and transportation departments through participation in AASHTO’s Subcommittee on Materials. In addition, pertinent ASTM specifications approved by member states are included. The book edition is organized in two volumes, Materials and Testing, and each volume has been separated into two books. AASHTO Provisional Standards includes an additional 37 provisional standards.

The single-user CD-ROM: The CD-ROM includes all the information found in the book edition as well as the 37 provisional standards found in AASHTO Provisional Standards, 2007 Edition.
