In 1993, AASHTO published the Quality Control/Quality Assurance Specification
and Implementation Guide as a report of the AASHTO Highway Subcommittee
on Construction. The Joint Construction Materials task force appointed
by the AASHTO Standing Committee on Highways has made significant changes
since 1993. We have renamed the publication and printed the Quality Assurance
Guide Specification and Implementation Manual for Quality Assurance as
two separate, but companion reports.
Reports coded QA and IMQA have not been balloted by the AASHTO Standing Committee on Highways and the AASHTO Board of Directors.
