A new AISC specification, Load and Resistance Factor Design of Safety-Related Steel Structures for Nuclear Facilities (ANSI/AISC N690L-03), is now available for free downloading. This document, dated December 17, 2003, is the first version based on the load and resistance factor design (LRFD) method. It has been approved by the AISC Committee on Specifications and it is ANSI-accredited. The allowable stress design (ASD) version (ANSI/AISC N690-94) is also available, along with a Supplement dated April 15, 2002.
