Paper topics are varied, and include such subjects as: 1)wharf and pier design, 2) container terminals, 3) bulk and neobulk terminals, 4) liquid bulk terminals, 5) cruise terminal, 6) military facilities, 7) cargo handling equipment and systems, 8) geotechnical and environmental issues, 9) dredging, 10) coastal engineering, 11) seismic design, 12) vessel collision, 13) navigation, 14) marina facilities, and 15) port rehabilitation and upgrade. These papers provide a glimpse of the present and the future to the reader, by introducing them to technically-advanced, innovative information that can be utilized by ports and industry in the next century. |
