This document provides guidance on the management of critical computer system development projects. It recognises that there may be a number of project managers in such projects (for exam-ple, on behalf of the customer, the supplier, and the assessment body) and it offers advice accord-ingly. It should be noted, however, that the guideline is primarily in respect of critical activities. Although there is implicit advice on general project management, the document is not intended to be exhaustive in this respect.
