38242 This publication contains 48 papers and includes keynote lectures from CDI ‘96 which was held in Nice, France, in September 1996, as part of the annual EUROCORR conference. It represents the current state of knowledge and behavior of a wide range of engineering materials subjected to deformation in corrosive environments as well as presenting the prevailing views of the failure mechanics. The papers cover four main fields: CDI in aqueous solutions, hydrogen plasticity interactions, oxidation - plasticity interactions, and CDI in the nuclear industry. Experiments, qualitative models, and numerical models are presented in this publication with special emphasis given to the prediction of damage laws for engineering materials. |
