NFPA 33 French edition governs spray painting and similar spray application processes that use flammable or combustible liquids or combustible powders. It includes the construction of spray rooms and spray booths, electrical systems for spray areas and adjacent hazardous locations, ventilation requirements, fire protection systems for spray areas, handling of flammable liquids, and operations and maintenance.

This standard also provides special requirements for automated and hand-held electrostatic spray systems and powder coating systems. NFPA 33 gives you the basic guidance for fiber reinforced plastics production using spray application and hand lay-up processes.
