Safeguard explosives during storage and transfer!

Updated for 2006, NFPA 498 provides requirements for the prevention of fires, theft, and explosion within explosives motor vehicle facilities. Its requirements are essential for safe havens used for the short-term parking of vehicles transporting explosive materials, and for explosives interchange lots where less-than-truckloads of explosives are permitted to be held for transfer from one vehicle to another for continued transportation.

Reference new and revised definitions based on today's terminology.

Definitions were updated and revised to correlate with the NFPA Glossary of Terms. For ease of use, the Standard is now reorganized and updated according to NFPA's Manual of Style guidelines.
