NFPA 901(06)
Standard Classifications for Incident Reporting and Fire Protection Data

Approx. 154 pp., 2006
$54.00

Maximize the value of sharing fire department data.

NFPA 901 helps fire departments and other fire protection organizations effectively share data with other agencies. It provides a common language and definitions that define and describe:

  • Pre-incident environments, such as fire defense features of a structure
  • Fire and other emergency incidents
  • Post-incident damage assessments
  • Fire service data

This document also offers a classification system for data captured by automated databases. NFPA 901 does not provide a reporting system or related forms. The 2006 edition is modified for NFPA's Manual of Style.
